Our Product Selection:

"The Sound, The Soul, The One"

The technology residing in the Hammond New B-3, XK-5, A-3 Heritage and other Hammond organ and keyboard products is connected to both past and present.  Laurens Hammond's original 1934-35 concepts are now a digital reality.  Others may copy but Hammond refers to the original blueprints, patents, and design concepts proven over the decades.  That's why for 90 years and counting Hammond remains, "The Sound, The Soul, The One."

Based on the proven A-162/B-162 platform, the Hammond Porta-B Organ offers Church and stage musicians alike a very unique, time proven performance platform.  You owe it to yourself to call us for a more detailed history of this instrument because it has its roots in the venerable Hammond Mini-B, a very popular organ in the Hammond line-up for nearly a decade.  The Porta-B Organ has its own built-in 3-channel (50 watts X 3) amplifier with built-in monitor speakers!  This is a major plus for church and stage players who want to hear what they are playing even if their Leslie speaker is 10-15 feet or more away.  Features like transpose, tune, keyboard split, Leslie simulation (when not connected to a Leslie) and the like are accessible through the main menu/display, located discretely beneath a lift-up panel to the left of the music rack.  For churches, this hidden control center is a must because it protects the organ from the unauthorized "button pushers" who always seem to find the most inopportune moment to change the organ's settings.  The Leslie is controlled from a special Leslie switch built right into the expression (volume) pedal on the bass pedal board (not shown, but included).  The volume of the Leslie the the organ's monitor speakers can be controlled individually from the console, giving the organist the ability to balance the two to his/her liking.  The Hammond Porta-B is available in two finishes, the standard, heavy duty black "crinkle finish" to match the Leslie 3300 and the optional satin black finish for instruments that will not be moved on a regular basis.

Hammond has set the MSRP for this instrument at $11,095 (plus the Leslie) and an MAP of $9,375.  Our introductory price for this instrument is too low to advertise.  Call us.  You will be pleased.

For the purpose of our Church Lease Special, we are combining the new Porta-B Organ with the time proven Leslie 3300 in matching durable black finish.  Sporting 300 watts of bi-amplified power, the Leslie 3300 is the perfect complement to the Porta-B.
