Pricing, Territories, Warranties, and Internet Sales You will notice that there are no prices on this site for Institutional Products.. Hammond Central does not engage in Internet sales in the contemporary sense with the exception of Pro Line and Leslie equipment. Our pricing of Pro Line and Leslie products is essentially the same as the “Internet Box Stores” with one added customer benefit: We actually know how the products work, how they are used in the field, and will most likely be able to answer your post-purchase questions and concerns. Why, then, are there no prices for Institutional Products? Hammond Suzuki, USA works feverishly to maintain a network of quality dealers who are able to service what they sell. The “Internet Box Store” is the antithesis of that. It is for that reason that you will not find much of anything from Hammond online at the Internet Box Stores other than Pro Line products (keyboards and related gear) and some Leslies. In order to maintain the high standard of product reliability and a dedicated dealer network, Hammond Suzuki, USA prohibits institutional products like the New B-3, Portable New B-3, A-305, etc. from being sold online. Hammond dealers are not authorized to sell outside of their contracted dealer territory without prior approval from Hammond Suzuki, USA. In fact, Hammond Suzuki, USA even limits their warranty liability to parts only for that reason, leaving the labor portion of the warranty to be covered by the dealer. Consequently, unauthorized Internet sales of new institutional Hammond products automatically have a limited “parts only” warranty and authorized Hammond dealers are not obligated to provide service and support for these units. Unscrupulous dealers won’t reveal this but it is a fact. Why does Hammond Suzuki prohibit the authorized sale of organs via the Internet? It’s really quite simple: An organ is a big-ticket item that requires a dedicated dealership to provide proper installation and post-sale service. Anything short of that will ultimately destroy an otherwise excellent product’s reputation in the marketplace. What is the bottom line for you, the customer? If you have interest in the New B-3, Portable New B-3, A-305, or other institutional Hammond products and are within the state of California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, or Hawaii or if you are in the greater Las Vegas, NV area, you are in Hammond Central territory and should feel free to call us about pricing. With the exception of additional freight expense for units delivered to Alaska and Hawaii, our pricing is competitive and uniform throughout our authorized market area. If you are outside of Hammond Central’s authorized market area and cannot find a Hammond dealer near you, give us a call. We will secure authorization from Hammond Suzuki to deal with you. Any purchase you make as a result will benefit by having a parts and labor warranty. If you are interested in Pro Line equipment, or a new Leslie, give us a call. There is no territorial limitation.
