The Leslie Pedals
The "Cream" Leslie Pedal In Stock!
Hammond Organ USA announces the release at the 2013 Winter NAMM of their first-ever Digital Leslie Pedal. Designed and built in America, the Leslie Pedal allows the distinctive rotary, moving sound of a Leslie to be added to any, guitar, bass, keyboard, or studio rig.
Derived from the state-of-the art Digital Leslie onboard the new
Hammond Sk series stage keyboards and the flagship B-3mkII Organ,
the Leslie Pedal evokes
vintage 122 and 147 Leslies, and the Model 18, basis of the classic
Vibratone Guitar cabinet made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughn and
others. The fourth model replicates the distinctive PR-40 stationary
speaker cabinet, which was standard issue with Hammond Organs in the
50’s and 60’s, and a “secret weapon” for many vintage studio guitar
recordings.
Rotary controls allow adjustment of virtual mic placement, ramp up and down speeds, overdrive, horn and bass balance, EQ and overall volume. Three footswitches provide true bypass, speed and brake control, stereo in/out. A gain switch allows the Leslie Pedal to be used in a guitar effects chain, or direct inject into a sound reinforcement system/keyboard amp.

The Leslie "G" Pedal
Hot on the heels of its big brother, which has brought the magical, moving sound of the Leslie Speaker to musicians all over the world, The new Leslie “G” pedal is targeted for Guitar use, but is not limited to that instrument. Based on the Digital Leslie circuitry pioneered on the best-selling Hammond “Sk” Stage Keyboards, the Leslie “G” Pedal has a smaller footprint to facilitate an easier fit into guitarist’s pedal-boards, while retaining many of the features of the popular original pedal, and at a lower price.
The “G” features three classic hot-rodded cabinet styles for the player to choose-Models122, 147, and the 18v (the Leslie model designation of the original vibratone single rotary speaker). A rotary pot allows the simultaneous adjustment of the rise and fall times (or “ramp”) of the virtual upper & lower rotors. Distance of the virtual microphone is optimized for each cabinet’s model, as is the “mix” of upper and lower levels. Overdrive is also optimized for each cabinet selected.
New to the “G” Leslie Pedal, are “Dry” and “Wet” controls.
Adjustment of the “Wet” determines the volume of the effected sound
sent to the output, while the “Dry” permits the straight or
unaffected sound of the guitar or instrument attached and blended
with the effected tone, when more clarity is desired.
A “Red Line” control, provides precise adjustment of the overall
“fast” speed of the virtual rotors. A further new function allows
the user to store a preset of their-own design, recalled by the
cabinet selector.
Two stomp switches are provided, one toggles the effect on/off, with the other controlling the slow/fast speed of the Leslie effect. When the effect is “off” the input is true bypass. The input jack is ¼” TRS, accepting mono or stereo signal with left and right stereo output jacks.
