Our Friends...
whose music and support we so greatly appreciate:
Ellis Hall
I
will never forget the first time I met Ellis Hall. My very
dear friend, the late Andy Weiner, called me one day and said,
"Cliff! You absolutely must meet Ellis Hall! This man is
the best! Just meet him and listen to him perform and you will
see what I mean. He's awesome, man!" Andy was right. Ellis is a remarkable
talent, the sort of fellow other musicians do not like to follow on
stage. Ellis's music and performance style are captivating.
Check out his Facebook page and then look him up on YouTube.
You will see what I mean.

Brian Ho
Brian
Ho has long been a Hammond performing artist but it would not be
right for me to say that is how I first met Brian. Brian was
brought to me by the people at Viscount because of his interest in
the Viscount Legend Live, which Brian ultimately purchased and now
uses almost exclusively in his gigs. This initial connection
with Brian has now blossomed and grown into a true partnership.
Brian is now the San Francisco Bay Area Manager for Hammond Central,
seeing over all things Hammond, Leslie, and Viscount in the 5-County
San Francisco Bay Area. If you have a question about any
Hammond or Viscount portable product, especially if you are either a
gigging musician or a church musician, Brain is the fellow to
consult. You can reach Brian via our toll free number: (877)
432-5700.
Bishop Samuel Butts
Sam
Butts and Cliff have talked so much over the phone that we're now
having difficulty remembering when we didn't know Sam.
He is a true perfectionist in knowing what he wants in his music
what he likes in his instruments and especially the way they
should sound. Sam loves the Viscount Legend and the
Viscount Legend Soul models and has become a strong supporter of
Hammond Central. On top of that, he is a dear friend and
brother in the Lord.
Jenny Jarnagin
A
talented composer, singer and pianist, Jenny Jarnagin exudes
originality in a music world dominated by cookie cutter performers. I
had the opportunity to meet and visit with Jenny several years ago
at the Winter NAMM Show. We discovered that we have mutual
friends and I am very grateful to Jenny for giving me one of her
CD's that day. I am now a fan! Jenny is a Hammond
USA/Hammond Central endorsed
performing artist using the Hammond SK1-88 in many of her
performances.

Deryl Winston
I
first met Deryl Winston in 2003 in Oakland. Hammond USA
had flown Deryl in to do a dedication concert at a major local
church, the first church West of the Mississippi River to purchase
the Hammond New B-3 Organ. That church also had the
distinction of joining me in being blown away by Deryl's playing!
Deryl is a good friend, the Hammond Central San Diego/Orange County representative, and
can be reached by calling our toll free number: (877)-432-5700.
Deryl is perhaps the most dynamic, entertaining Gospel Organist to grace
the Hammond Organ.

Andy Weiner
Most
will not recognize his name but virtually everyone has heard his
music. I first met Andy at the very beginning of American
Idol. He called me to see about purchasing a Leslie 2101 for
the Idols Tour. We immediately connected as friends. A
brilliant musical talent, Andy had not just perfect pitch but the
astonishing ability to hear entire chords (13 or more notes!), walk
over to a keyboard and play, in the same key, what he had just heard.
Andy arranged perhaps 40-50% of the tunes you heard on American
Idol. He was a humble, yet remarkable talent. We lost
Andy in early March of 2018. We miss him very much
and will for a long time to come.
Roger Smith - Tower of Power
Roger
Smith and Tower of Power are the Bonneville Salt Flats proving
ground of Leslie Speakers and the Hammond Portable New B-3.
Roger has one of the very first Portable New B-3 organs made,
getting his back in 2003. ToP does between 150-180 gigs per
year so, doing some fast math, it is safe to say that Roger's PB-3
has been set up and taken down around 2,250 times or more...and it's
still playing! His Leslie 3300's know only one volume: full
blast. We are proud to have Roger as an endorsed performing
artist.
Here is a link to ToP's 40th Anniversary performance.
