Hammond Console Organs
From the very beginning Hammond's primary focus has been the console organ for use in either the home, church, or institution. The instruments listed below are the very heart of Hammond's heritage.
Hammond New B-3
The
Hammond New B-3 is, in every respect, a faithful
reproduction of its vintage namesake. Now in the Mk2
configuration, this instrument is still the mainstay of the
Hammond Organ line and, pricewise, when adjustments for inflation
are taken into consideration, sells for essentially the same price
as its vintage counterpart back in 1955. This is the organ
everyone wants to play and some vainly try to copy.

Hammond Portable New B-3
The
easily transported Hammond Portable New B-3 is what so many
technicians tried to accomplish with various version of the
customized "chopped B-3" only more so. It is so often used as
a semi-permanent console organ that we include it here as well as on
the "Portable Organs" page. While nearly identical to the
standard New B-3/C-3 internally, the overall construction of this
instrument is built to withstand heavy professional or institutional
use yet its layout is, from the player's perspective, identical to
that of the vintage B-3 or C-3. Learn more...
Hammond A-162
Based
on Hammond's original A-100 series of organs, the A-162 is, in
so many aspects, an improvement on the A-100 concept of the 1960's.
The A-162 provides 150 watts of amplification to a total of 5
speakers including a 15" bass woofer for fantastic bass pedal
performance. With its built in Digital Leslie System, the
A-162 needs no external speaker system and is ideal for any
installation where space is a consideration. Smaller churches
will love this organ. Learn more...

New Hammond B-162 Organ is available as an alternative to the now
discontinued Mini-B Organ

feel of the mighty B-3 with significant improvements and needed
features not found in the Mini-B. Churches love the look and sound of
the B-162! Built from the ground up as a console organ, the
B-162 has roots all the way back to the Hammond Organ Company of the
