  • New VEM (Virtual Electro-Mechanical) Physical-Modeled sound engine providing enhanced realism to tone-wheel sounds, with dedicated Key Click and Leakage controls on top panel. Classic Spinet Model L-112 added to Custom Tone Wheel list.
  • New Longer playing keys recreating the feel of a vintage Hammond, with Enhanced multi-contact implementation – 6 physical contacts per manual key,
  • New Preamp Function Mode using modeling to recreate the characteristics of the vintage AO-28 / AO-29 preamp. Enhanced Overdrive allowing warmth or distortion to be added to Leslie and Organ sounds separately.

    One characteristic that nearly every player of a vintage Hammond Organ seeks is the feel.  Hammond went out of its way to duplcate the geometry of the vintage Hammond keybed, copying the length of the key from the fulcrum to the key face, giving the player the feel that they've been seeking which is why the XK-7 Series is making such waves in the Hammond community.

    The XK-7D is available as a complete organ system with its very special 25-note, 3 contacts per key pedal board, stand and bench.  You can choose the "Pro Style" stand in black steel or go with the traditional look of red walnut, B-3 style.  We have special pricing on both options.
