A More Portable "Mini-B"...

Look at the Hammond Mini-B console organ and then look at the Hammond XK Vintage Organ System.  On the outside they look nearly identical.  Electronically, they are identical in every respect.  Both share the venerable Hammond XK-3C single manual organ as the "brains" of the modular organ system.  On the Mini-B the XK-3C loads into the cabinet from the back.  On the XK Vintage Organ System the XK-3C is installed from the top. The primary difference is the console cabinet.  The Mini-B cabinet is one solid piece whereas the Vintage System cabinet separates into two components: the actual console (upper and lower manuals as one unit) and the stand, which folds flat for transport.

Mini-B Features at a Lower Price

Because the XK Vintage Organ System is modular, it production and shipping costs are less yet the features are essentially the same and the sound is exactly the same.

MIDI

Like the Mini-B, the XK Vintage Organ System has one of the most powerful MIDI implementations to be found anywhere on a church, stage, or studio organ, offering 6-channel MIDI keyboard control capability on the organ's front panel.

Leslie Ready

We believe the best Leslie for the XK Vintage Organ System is the Leslie 3300W or the standard Leslie 3300.  Why?  Both versions of the 3300 offer powerful performance at a competitive price.  Other Leslie options would include the Leslie 981 or 122XB.  In addition to utilizing any one of the many 11-pin Leslie systems available, the XK Vintage Organ System can function without an external Leslie by utilizing quality self-powered speakers or a quality sound reinforcement system.  On board the XK Vintage Organ is a state-of-the-art Leslie simulation system that is available in the stereophonic line outputs as well as the headphone jack; a nice feature for private practice and recording without microphones.
